Andersen Chairman's Awards
Andersen Corporation commissioned Bennett Awards to create new custom awards for its annual Chairman’s Awards. These employee recognition awards honor the hard work put forth daily to maintain Andersen’s position as an industry leader. They are the most prestigious awards given within Andersen Corporation each year, showcasing the award recipients’ stellar efforts in leadership, achievement, innovation, and application.
Bennett Awards collaborated with Andersen to create a unique custom award design based on wood. The awards feature a set of rectangular wood blocks of varying sizes adhered together to create a layered effect. The wood used for the awards is Ponderosa Pine with a naturally occurring blue stain. A recessed channel surrounds the group of wood blocks, and this channel is filled with a metal band.
Above the metal band, the outside of the wood blocks is engraved in a vertical orientation with the name of the award and one of the key Andersen values (quality, safety, sustainability). The Andersen logotype is engraved in a horizontal orientation below the band.
