Twitch Chat's Choice Awards (Winners)
Bennett Awards created these custom awards for Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon. Twitch is an American video live streaming service that focuses on video game live streaming, including broadcasts of esports competitions. In addition, it offers music broadcasts, creative content, and more recently, "in real life" streams.
These unique custom awards were created for the Twitch Chat’s Choice Awards, which recognize content streamers across different categories, with the winners chosen by the users.
Two unique award designs were created: one for nominees in each award category, and one for the category winners.
The category winner awards were in the shape of a freestanding obelisk that combined both aluminum and acrylic. The bottom half of the awards – essentially the base – we made from brushed aluminum. Wallpaper with the award logotype, along with the name of the award and its recipient, were screen printed on the surface. The top half of the awards were produced in translucent acrylic. Wallpaper images were screen printed on the back, and the event logo was screen printed on the front. These awards stood 10”h x 6”w x 2”d.
The category nominee awards were also in the form of a freestanding obelisk, but of a more horizontal orientation. These awards measured 6.6”h x 6”w x 2”d. These awards were created in acrylic. The bottom base portion of the awards were solid green acrylic and had the Twitch logo and recipient information screen printed on their surface. The upper portion of the awards were translucent acrylic and had screen printing on both the back and front surfaces.
